The handle stays cool even when draining hot pasta water, and the fine mesh catches every last grain of rice. It’s the perfect size for small jobs like rinsing quinoa or draining canned beans.

For rinsing a pint of blueberries or draining a small can of beans, this 16 cm size is honestly perfect for the job. The mesh is fine enough that nothing slips through, though I do wish the handle had a bit more grip when my hands are wet. Still, it’s become my go-to for quick veggie prep.

It does the basic job of straining pasta or rinsing berries, though the 16 cm size feels a bit too small for anything beyond a single serving. The handle is comfortable enough, but I wish the mesh were a little finer to catch smaller seeds.
