I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly the stainless steel blade cuts through the apple—no jagged edges left behind. It's nice that the core comes out in one clean piece, making prep for my kids' snacks much faster.

The ring handle gives me a solid grip, so slicing through the apple and popping the core out takes maybe five seconds per fruit. I've used it three times this week for school lunches and it hasn't let me down once.

I was a bit skeptical about how well a core remover would work, but this one's blade is sharp enough to cut through any apple cleanly. The handle gives me a solid grip, so I don't worry about slipping. It's honestly made my morning oatmeal prep a lot faster.
