Časovač »Tempus«, mechanický

The dial clicks firmly into each minute mark, so I can set it precisely without overshooting. It has been a steady workhorse for pasta and eggs, and the loud ring cuts through exhaust fan noise. I’m glad to have something that doesn’t need batteries.

I love that it's completely mechanical — winding it up and hearing that satisfying tick is so much more reliable than fumbling with phone timers. The dial turns smoothly and the loud ring is perfect for when I'm boiling pasta.

Finally, a timer that doesn't need batteries or an app to set—just twist the dial and it's ready. The loud click when the time runs out is impossible to miss, even over the sound of a boiling pot.
