Double-boiler / melting bowl, 300 ml

Melting chocolate for truffles used to mean babysitting a bowl over a pot, but this little 300 ml bowl fits right on the saucepan and the heat stays gentle. Small enough to tuck in the drawer, which I appreciate.

I've been melting butter for baking in the microwave and it always splatters everywhere, so this little bowl was a nice change. The 300 ml capacity handles a full stick with room to spare, and everything melts evenly without scorching. Cleaning it is easy too.

Finally found a pot that actually melts chocolate without scorching it on the edges. The 300 ml size is perfect for a small batch of dipping strawberries, and the double boiler setup keeps everything at a steady, gentle heat. Takes up almost no drawer space when I tuck it away, too.
