The 32 cm length is perfect for loading up plenty of veggies and meat without the skewer bending under the weight. They're sold in bulk too, so I've got enough for a big backyard cookout without hunting for more at the store.

These skewers are functional for grilling and the 32cm length works well for kebabs. I just wish the flat metal part was a bit wider so the food wouldn't spin around when I try to turn them on the grill. They get the job done for the price though.
