I've been using this lever can opener for a few weeks and it handles standard cans with almost no effort—the lever action is smooth and much easier on my wrists than the old twist type.

The lever mechanism takes almost no effort, which I didn't expect from something so simple. I've been opening batch after batch of canned tomatoes for sauce season and it hasn't slipped once. Bulk packaging meant no extra plastic to toss, which was a nice bonus.

My wrists aren't what they used to be, so the lever handle on this thing is a lifesaver. It bites into the lid right away and I don't have to wrestle with it like my old twist opener. Bulk packaging meant no plastic clamshell to fight through either.
