The curved prongs actually cradle the potato instead of stabbing through it, so my boiled baby potatoes come out whole every time. Handle feels solid and doesn't get slippery even with wet hands.

The prongs slide under boiled potatoes without tearing the skins, which is exactly what I wanted for serving. I've also used it on carrots and it lifts them cleanly out of the pot.

The tines are spaced just right, so my boiled potatoes come out of the pot whole instead of falling apart. It's become my go-to for lifting carrots and cauliflower too, and it feels sturdy enough to last.
