The probe is long enough to reach the center of even a big turkey, and the temperature markings are clear and easy to read without squinting. Cooked a perfect roast chicken on my first try.

The large, easy-to-read dial makes it simple to check the temp without opening the oven door, and the sturdy probe stays securely in place even in a thick cut of pork. I’ve used it twice now and both roasts came out perfectly juicy.

It does the job for basic roasts, but I wish the temperature markings were a bit easier to read at a glance. The probe feels sturdy enough, just not as precise as I'd hoped.
