Peeled a whole bunch of asparagus with this last night and it glided right through the stalks without any dragging. The blade sits close enough to the surface that almost nothing gets wasted, which I appreciate. Simple little tool but it does the job well.

I've been peeling asparagus with a plain knife for years and this thing cut my prep time way down. The U-shaped head glides along the stalk and takes off just the tough outer layer without gouging the tender part. Feels solid in the hand too, no flex at all.

The U-shape head gets under the tough ends of asparagus spears way easier than my old straight peeler, and it hasn't clogged once. Handle feels solid for the price, so I've been using it on carrots and cucumbers too.
