The hinge on this press is so smooth that I actually look forward to mincing garlic now, and it gets every last clove out without me wrestling with it. Cleanup took under a minute, which sealed the deal for me.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but the press handles garlic cloves without any papery skin getting stuck in the mechanism. It’s sturdy enough for daily use, though I wish the handle had a slightly better grip when my hands are wet.
