The handle is long enough to keep my hands clear of the steam when skimming hot stock. It really does leave the broth clear.

The fine mesh catches even the smallest bits of fat without clogging, and the handle stays cool during use. Just what I needed for clearer consommé.

Perfect size for skimming my bone broth—catches the foam without being clumsy. Would love it if the handle were just a tad longer, but overall it’s got good balance and does the job.
