I've been using this slicer for a couple of weeks now and it handles carrots and cucumbers way faster than my knife ever did. The consistent slices mean my oven roasted veggies finally cook evenly instead of some being burnt and others raw.

The blades on this thing are seriously sharp, and it cuts zucchini and carrots into perfectly even slices in one pass. Cleanup is a bit fiddly since you have to be careful with the blades, but it's worth it for how fast dinner prep goes now.
