The safety design really works — no sharp edges left on the lid, so I'm not fishing around for a bandage after every can of tomatoes. It takes a little more wrist work than a regular opener, but I'll take that over sliced fingers.

Took me a minute to get the hang of it, but now I love how smoothly it cuts without leaving any jagged edges—no more worrying about cuts when emptying cans.

The lid comes off with no sharp edge at all, which is the whole reason I switched from my old opener. My kids can grab a can of tomatoes without me hovering. It's a bit bulky in the drawer, but that's my only nitpick.
